Plan your story, but not too much (II)

During the writing of my next novel, I have focused more on the planning part to increase the consistency of the story. For 3 weeks it was no longer about writing, just thinking and designing. For my way of thinking, representing the plot in the form of events is easier to me. So, there are a number of events that are going to happen in the story, initial, final and intermediate. For example, "X robs a bank", "X faces Y". And in parallel, I develop the characters, what they want, what conflicts they have, how they behave. Everything that determines how they will act in certain situations and scenes. And my planning ends there, I like to leave a certain freedom for the story to develop by itself. I decide where a scene starts, where it goes and which characters are in it. How it grows and expands, it's out of the planning, the plot always finds its way as I write.
